Solar panels produce power primarily from the sun’s rays. As long as there is light, the solar panel will still produce power to charge the battery, it just depends on the intensity of the light. All in all, the stronger the light, the better the charging effect.

If it is an off-grid system, the cost will be relatively high, because need to replace the battery and clean the solar panels regularly; if it is an on-grid system, the cost is almost zero, only need to clean the solar panels regularly.

Usually the warranty of solar panels is 25-30 years, but the solar cells warranty may be longer. Generally, we regard the first 25-30 years of the system as the “effective life” period, because the solar panels can play the best performance; but after the 30-year “effective period”, the power generation efficiency of the panels will decrease year by year, and which includes many factors.

Our solar panels are divided into P-type and N-type. At present, the mainstream product in the photovoltaic industry is P-type solar panel, because the production process of P-type silicon wafers is simple and the cost is low. N-type silicon wafers usually have a longer life and solar cell efficiency can be higher, but the technology is more complicated.

Inverters can be divided into on-grid inverter, off-grid inverter and micro inverter.The on-grid inverter doesn’t need any battery storage, it can convert the direct current which generated by the solar panel into alternating current through inversion and fed to the public power grid directly.
The off-grid inverter is a system that is separated from the public grid. The DC power generated by the solar panels is stored in the battery first, and then the battery is transported to the off-grid inverter for inversion. The AC power can be directly supplied to the load. it can also be returned to battery storage.
A micro-inverter is an inverter with a power of less than or equal to 1000w and a module-level MPPT in a photovoltaic power generation system. The full name is a micro-photovoltaic on-grid inverter. “”Micro”” is relative to the traditional centralized inverter. Each module can be independently controlled by MPPT, which can greatly improve the overall efficiency, and can also avoid the DC high voltage, weak light effect, and wooden barrel effect of the centralized inverter.
